Desert
Deserts have tropical daily temperature variation and may be greater than seasonal variation but also temperate and cold. The tropical daily temperature may be greater than seasonal variation. The precipitation in the desert is usually less than ten inches a year. There will be years of drought in this region. However there are flash floods, dry winds, and a high evaporation rate in the desert. Soil type in the desert is sandy with some rich in nutrients, other nutrients are poor, and has little ability to hold water.
